Description
Medical device component of a topical treatment of mycosis of the nails of the hands and feet. Contains urea, lanolin, and white petroleum jelly. CE marking. Class I, not sterile. How to use: Apply the necessary amount of ointment to the infected nail once a day, covering the entire surface of the nail. Keep with an occlusive adhesive dressing for 24 hours. Repeat the ointment application and change the adhesive dressing every day, once the remains of the ointment from the previous application have been removed. Depending on the degree of involvement of the nail and its thickness, 1 to 3 weeks of treatment will be necessary. After 1 to 3 weeks of treatment, it is recommended that a healthcare professional cut the soft, detached part of the nail using nail scissors. Once the diseased part of the nail is removed, an antifungal treatment should be followed.
